The Amazin' Raisin

We would like to introduce our mascot – the Amazing Raisin'. How did he become part of the Raising Health fundraising family I hear you ask? One wet and windy afternoon our Fundraising Manager Lindsay had the idea of turning the 'smile' icon from our logo into a knitted mascot. Picking up the phone to super-knitter Rosemary, the challenge was set and sure enough the following week the Amazing Raisin' was brought to life!

Since then he's been to visit many of our inpatient wards, handed out Staff Lottery prizes, been out to meet patients in their homes and travelled more than 100 miles around the county strapped to walkers, cyclists and joggers during the Vest Appeal fundraiser! 

He sums up everything about us here at Raising Health - supportive, friendly, always keen to help those who need it most - and above all he brings a smile to people faces! Look out for him around the County!
